Back Story

The Backstory on my 1973 MG midget. I received my MG as my first car when I was 5 years old from my father who had a triumph for his first car. My mg was painted a metallic blue when we got it. at that point it was our best intentions to repaint and restore it to original standards. We found the original color in the engine compartment and inside the dash compartment on the left side. Black Tulip was the color after referencing with other sources. I have never seen another black tulip MG in my area. But the restoration of the color was started I at 7 years old was in charge of deciding the exact color mixture. As my color was previously blue I chose a small blue metal flake in the black tulip for my own little twist. As time passed and I grew older I had more important things going on so the MG took a back seat. I have recently started an interior partial restoration. only  leaving out the dash as the only thing not in the restoration. this blog is to show the updates on that restoration and any other small touches that I add.
